Yesterday, at the launch event of Black Shark smartphone, company’s CEO Lei Jun was spotted wearing a mysterious device on his wrist. It is, most likely, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. The latest version of the popular low-cost wearable, that Huang Wang (Huami Technology’s CEO) confirmed will be coming out this year.
Mi Band 3 Leaked Images
As noticeable in the image, the overall shape of the band is unchanged from previous iterations. However, few tweaks can be seen. Like the top glass seems to splash over to the sides now. A round button near the bottom is visible as well and right on top of it – a very small display. Just like the Mi Band 2, we can only assume it will be a tiny and power-efficient OLED unit.
Apart from this first sneak, no other information is available about the Mi Band 3.
The Mi Band 3 will have an accelerometer, vibration engine, optical heart rate sensor and Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity. An IP67 rating, or similar, is probably a given as well.
