There was a small hike on Xiaomi products a few days ago to rationalize the dollar-rupee fluctuations. But now the company is slashing the prices on its three products – Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi A2, and Redmi Y2 to celebrate the number one position in India for five consecutive quarters.

As you can see in the tweet above, Xiaomi has cut back the pricing by INR 1,000, which means Redmi Y2 costs INR 11,999, the Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB/64GB goes for INR 13,999 while the 6GB/64GB version sells for INR 15,999. The Mi A2 4GB/64GB variant will now cost INR 16,999, whereas the 6GB/128GB units will command INR 18,999.
The best part is that the new prices are already live across all official stores and they are permanent. It should be noted that the Redmi 6 Pro is just around the corner though.
