WhatsApp will soon get the feature to share stickers

Most of the popular messaging services like Line, WeChat, Skype, Facebook Messenger, and Allo, make use of stickers alongside the emojis. However, the most popular among them all, WhatsApp, has no such stickers. But, all this will change pretty soon.

WhatsApp Stickers

As reported by @WABetainfo on Twitter, WhatsApp Beta 2.18.218 version brings a preview of the incoming sticker feature.

For those who don’t know, the feature was first announced at Facebook’s F8 developer conference in May this year.

Stickers will make their way to public release sometime in the future. As for the time being, there is no concrete release date available. The tweet shows off two unreleased sticker packs: Bibimbap Friends and Unchi & Rollie.

Also, it’s not known, whether the same stickers on Messenger will arrive for WhatsApp since both the platforms are owned by Facebook.

Right now, there isn’t a direct way to enable these stickers, hence, we guess users will have to wait until the feature officially arrives either in the beta or public releases.

Stickers are a fun way of expressing emotions in an elaborated way compared to regular emojis. Tell us what you think though! Do you want to see the stickers support arrive in WhatsApp or you just don’t care?
