Just as promised MIUI 10 update is on its way to eligible devices. The latest beta release comes for Redmi Note 5 Pro in China and with it brings the ability to record 1080p video in 60fps. Same was confirmed by the folks at XDA Developers.
And it goes without saying we can expect the same feature to debut on global beta and final release.
Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched at the start of 2018, and since then the video capabilities have been capped to 1080p at 30fps. In fact, users took on their own to root the device and enable 4K video recording since there was no response from Xiaomi support.
The 60fps option gives more choice to users but we would have liked to see a 4K30 mode instead, especially considering the phone has more than enough power to do it.
