Realme C1 launched featuring Snapdragon 450 SoC and notched HD+ display

Realme has launched a new ultra-budget series with the announcement of Realme C1 alongside Realme 2 Pro. It’s essentially a toned down version of Realme 2 to keep the prices low. However, it retains some nifty features to make it a real competition for Redmi 6A and likes.

Realme C1 Specifications

Realme C1 sports a 6.2-Inch 720 x 1520 px notched display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with 2 Gigs of RAM and 16 GB onboard storage. You can further expand the storage via micro-SD card.

On the camera front, Realme C1 features a 13MP + 2MP camera combo on the back. Whereas on the front, you have a 5 MP shooter with AI enhancements. All this is taken care by 4,230 mAh battery, quite impressive for a phone below $100.

The handset boots Android Oreo out of the box with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.1 on top. Other noticeable omissions from the Realme 2 includes the fingerprint reader and diamond pattern design on the rear. It will be made available in Blue and Black color variants.

Realme C1 is priced at Rs. 6,999, making it the cheapest Realme device so far. It will go on sale on October 11 on Flipkart exclusively.
