Reliance Jio Prime Membership is all set to expire tomorrow, and what happens next wasn’t know until now. In a recent announcement, Jio has confirmed that the Prime subscription will be extended for one more year to the customers who have already paid the Rs. 99 membership fee before March 31, 2018.

With this announcement, the air surrounding the Prime subscription has been cleared. The announcement basically means any Jio Prime subscriber can enjoy the benefits of services free of cost for next year. However, those who join the network or opt for Prime after April 1, will need to shell Rs. 99 fee. Just like before, the Prime membership extends to 12 months, ending on March 31, 2019.

For those who don’t know, the Jio Prime membership was announced in February last year as the company went from a free service to the paid model.
Jio Prime subscription is essential if you want to benefit from the offers the company provides from time to time, such as the Rs. 50 discounts on recharge packs with daily data allocations. Similarly, the Jio promise to offer data tariffs 20 percent lower than the nearest competitor works out for Prime users only.
