Samsung has launched a new entry-level smartphone in India dubbed Galaxy J2 2017 Edition. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 7,390 and will carry its weight against the likes of Redmi 4 and Lenovo budget offerings.

Samsung Galaxy J2 2017 Edition Specifications

The Galaxy J2 2017 Edition follows the design elements introduced with A-series of 2017. It features a 4.7-Inch HD display powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. RAM stands at 1 GB with internal storage capacity of 8 GB, which can be further expanded via micro-SD card. It's a dual-sim 4G device with Android Nougat OS.

Coming to the camera department, Galaxy J2 2017 sports a 5 MP rear and 2 MP front shooter. All this is powered by a measly 2000 mAh battery. The handset will be available on both online and offline channels starting tomorrow.

In other news, Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has received another price cut in the country, bring the asking tag to Rs. 29,990 (approx. $460).
